A Home Invasion
Luke 11:24-32
Sunday, July 31, 2022
Dr. Kelly B. Burton
At the end of the Model Prayer in Luke 11:4, Jesus instructs us to pray, “Deliver us from the evil one.” When He does God expects a response of repentance. The sign of God’s presence is supposed to be a call to faith or deeper commitment. Without the Holy Spirit we are like an empty house all cleaned up, but we do not have the power to resist the evil one.
Sermon in a Sentence: God expects a response of repentance when He visits you. Welcome the Kingdom of God into you.
