Every Christian has the potential to stir up trouble in his local church. So, Paul uses this chapter to address our relationships; first as church members, then as husbands and wives. Like taking off an old set of clothes and putting on new ones, Paul says to put off your old ways and put on your new nature in Christ Jesus.
Sermon Idea: You were chosen by God to belong in His Church. Practice a new way of living.
3:5-11 Put an End to Your Old Ways, So You Don’t Stir Up Any Trouble
