This throne room vision must be read hand in hand with the preceding seven letters to the seven churches. What did those persecuted but persevering Church members need to see more than anything else? That God is seated on His throne in all His eternal glory. Their suffering was not going unnoticed by the all-seeing Majestic One.

Sermon in a Sentence: Seated on His throne clothed in unmitigated majesty, God is reigning; don’t give up the good fight.

The Throne is mentioned fourteen times in Chapter 4 and over forty in the Book of Revelation.

The Throne symbolizes the Sovereignty of God.

Falling Down Around the Throne Are Forgiven Believers Worshiping

Notice with me that Heaven is not a quiet place. It is bustling with dramatic activity.
