John Revels

John has been leading worship with his wife at FBCA since 2018. They have been serving together in churches since 1976.  He was saved at the age of 9 and began taking piano lessons the same year. He became the church pianist at Antioch Baptist Church during his high school years.  After graduating high school in 1973 he came to Arlington to attend Arlington Baptist College where He graduated in 1977.  John and Tami were married in 1976 and have two living daughters, eight grandchildren and one daughter in heaven.  He is retired from FedEx after 34 years and has been leading worship since his college days.  “We strive to bring a blended worship style of traditional hymns and contemporary music that prepare the congregation to receive the preaching of the Word of God. We love to see people engaged in worship and to experience the presence of the only One who is worthy of our praise.”
