There are two banquets in Mark chapter 6. One is hosted by King Herod and is motivated by his ego. The other is hosted by Jesus and is motivated by His compassion. We are supposed to be taken back by the response of the disciples who have gained apostle status by now. They see the obstacles not the Solution.
Sermon in a Sentence: Jesus is the Shepherd King full of compassion. Come away with Him and let Him use you.
