Running to Our Reward
Hebrews 12:1-4
Sunday, December 4, 2022
Dr. Kelly B. Burton
Reading through the ‘Hall of Faith’ in Hebrews 11, I am encouraged because not one of those heroes had a perfect faith; they had their flaws. Picture that massive crowd of saints standing and cheering you on to your reward. More important to the author of Hebrews, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and you will breast the tape at the finish line.
Sermon in a Sentence: It is easy to tire out in the Christian life; run the course God gave you fixed on your Champion, Jesus.
