Luke’s cast of Christmas characters features God fulfilling His promise, Gabriel delivering His message, the Holy Spirit overshadowing His servant Mary, and Jesus His Son entering our world. Told from a non-Jewish perspective, Luke helps us to see that all people matter to God. Every human being is encouraged to trust Him. Will you believe like Mary and let the Holy Spirit have His way with you?
Sermon in a Sentence: God sees the fallen condition of our world and He acts; respond to Him in faith and serve Him.

4 Responsibilities I see in this text:
- Meditate on the marvelous grace of God.
- Stay far away from losing your hope when trouble comes.
- Consider Mary’s response to the impossible.
- Do not be afraid of the Holy Spirit.
