Quit Whining and Trust God

It is no accident that there are striking similarities between Revelation and Exodus. For example, in Revelation 8:5 we read about peals of thunder, flashes of lightning, and thunder. In Revelation 9 the smoke releases swarms of locusts. In Exodus 8 God judges Pharoah with swarms of locusts, and in Exodus 19 there is the same cosmic display of God’s power: thunders and lightnings, smoke and Mt Sinai trembled. I think the church needs to see this unique connection. God hasn’t changed. He is still in the business of fighting for His people, judging His enemies, and delivering His people from death.
