Leading up to Easter Sunday, I want us to explore the hidden works of Christ. These works are the spiritual accomplishments Christ gained on our behalf. I want this sermon to convince you that your salvation is locked in. This hidden work of Christ is called Redemp-tion. Jesus is greater than Old Testament rituals. The blood of Jesus is greater than the Old Testament sacrifices. These are two reasons we should believe that our salvation is locked in.
Sermon in a Sentence: Because Christ purchased us by His own blood, we can serve Him with a pure conscience.
Here are two reasons you should believe your salvation is locked in:
1. The Value of Old Testament Rituals Could Not Last.
Christ entered the holy places once and for all.
2. The Blood of Old Testament Sacrifices Could Only Clean the Flesh.
Christ purified our conscience.
