As you can tell I am carefully choosing my Christmas series texts to feature our superior Savior. Today, from Philippians, I want to show you how Jesus models servanthood for the Church. For the Philippians to promote the Gospel to Philippi, Paul wanted them to value others more than themselves. Jesus shows us how to crucify our big egos. Value others more than yourself.

The high calling of church membership is a lowly mindset.
2:5-8 Imitation Leads to Humiliation

Jesus is in a class by Himself. He is the Servant Son!
