The return of Christ is meant to produce hope in the hearts of His followers. It will occur sometime after the Tribulation, in an instant, when you least expect it. While He is away, stay awake by reaching out to the lost, and growing together with the saints.
Main Idea: All things will be made new when Jesus returns. Stay awake, you don’t want to miss this!
13:24-27 In Power Jesus Will Return to Make All Things New
Creation will no longer groan under the weight of the curse.
All men and women will stand before Christ to be judged.
All those whose names are written in the Book will inherit the Kingdom.
13:32-37 In the Meantime, We Have Work to Do
The mini parable in verse 34 describes our assigned tasks.
The opposite of being awake is spiritual lethargy.
