The material we are about to cover is not for the faint at heart. Endure to the end and you will be saved. Jesus warns His disciples of severe tribulation that will test their faith. The disciples want to know about the end of the Temple. Jesus’s answer extends far beyond the end of the Temple. He explains the end of the world. Some of these marks about the end are phenomena that will trigger the tribulation. The Great Tribulation period will usher in the return of Jesus. Endure to the end and you will be saved.
Main Idea: Jesus promised persecution will come to His Church. Endure and you will be saved.
13:3-13 Phenomena that Trigger the Beginning of the End
3-8: Wars, and Natural Disasters.
9-13: Christian Persecution that will require endurance.
RAPTURE: “kept from the hour of trial” Revelation 3:10
13:14-23 Great Tribulation that Ushers in the Return of Christ
14-18: The Appearance of the Antichrist and the utter urgency to run from him.
19-23: The Great Tribulation Period also found in Rev ch’s 6-19.
