The Grand Finale
Mark 13:24-27
Sunday, November 19, 2023
Dr. Kelly B. Burton
After the Great Tribulation darkness will cover the earth again. Observant Bible readers will remember there was darkness in Genesis 1:1-2 signaling the end of chaos and disorder. Darkness signaled the end of our separation from God while Jesus was on His cross. In Mark 13, darkness signals the end for demonic authority in heavenly places. Darkness in the Bible signals to us that God is about to do something extraordinary! Glory signals the beginning for the elect. Get ready! Our Champion is coming back dressed in power and glory.
Sermon Main Idea: Get ready! Our Champion is coming back dressed in power and glory.
13:24-25 Darkness Signals the End
Powers in the heavens will be shaken.
13:26-27 Glory Signals the Beginning
A Universal Declaration that Jesus is King!
