The Good Life is the Hard Life of Submission
1 Peter 3:8-12

These verses highlight what it takes to be a healthy church. The main verb is found in 3:8, “Y’all must be in harmony with each other in the church.” It is a command from the apostle Peter. Our calling is to be a blessing to each other. If we bless each other, we will receive eternal life (see 3:10). I found it intriguing that God will not hear the prayers of the husband who does not honor his wife, but He hears those who bless others.
Main Idea: The good life is the hard life of submission.
